Backflow and TMV testing
Testable backflow devices need a test every year. TMVs run to their own service interval. We install them, service them and test them.
Backflow prevention
Irrigation, a fire service, a commercial kitchen: anything that could push water back into the mains is a cross-connection risk, and the property may need backflow protection for it. Testable devices, meaning RPZs and double check valve assemblies, need retesting every twelve months and a test record for the water authority. We test them, service them and replace them when they are past it.
TMV servicing
Thermostatic mixing valves hold delivered water at a safe temperature, which is why they turn up in childcare, aged care, schools and healthcare. They drift over time, so they get tested against the required temperature range and serviced to suit the valve and the site.
What to have ready
When you call, the useful things are the device type, where it is on site, and the current due date if you have it. If you do not, we can work it out from the tag.
Call anyway. Two minutes on the phone with a plumber beats a wet ceiling. If it can wait, we'll tell you straight.
